About Origo Automation

Origo Automation was founded as a services firm for the engineering and scientific community. We have a great deal of experience with Test and Measurement Systems, Industrial Automation and Control applications, as well as other Lab Automation and Embedded Systems development. More specifically, we can provide expert assistance in any applications involving National Instruments development tools.

Jeff Bruce - Founder + CEO

Matt Sweetland earned his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Western New England University. Prior to Origo Automation, Jeff was the VP of Sales and Marketing at Sensatronics where he focused on growing the company’s channel sales program. Jeff has extensive experience in the test and measurement world having previously held positions in the EMI lab at the Johnson Space Center and Electromagnetic Effects group at Raytheon.

Jeff also has held senior management roles in test and measurement companies including Instrumentation Engineering and Flextronics Test. In his business development role at ARC Technology Solutions, Jeff grew revenue 300% in four years.

Matt Sweetland - Founder + President

Matt Sweetland earned his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Since attending Rensselaer Matt has held positions in software development and applications engineering for companies like, Mercury Computer Systems, and National Instruments. At National Instruments Matt was an Account Manager for Northern New England where he helped NI grow their latest technology platforms for Test and Measurement.

Matt has worked with hundreds of customers on all aspects of application development, from specification to implementation and product training.
